DESCRIPTION

He's smooth. He's greasy. He is... Manteboy!

In this epic culinary adventure, you take control of a brave pat of butter brought to life by a mysterious force (or perhaps just questionable kitchen hygiene).  Tragically separated from the sandwich he was meant for, Manteboy must embark on a dangerous mission.

His goal? To recover the lost bread slices and fulfill his live purpose: to be the butter of a sandwich! It is his entire reason for existing.

But this is no picnic. The kitchen is a hostile wasteland, with rats, and... slimes? Someone must have forgotten something in the fridge for a long time.

HOW TO PLAY

A Button -> Start or Restart Game

Arrow Keys -> Move Manteboy

Your quest will take you across all 6 treacherous levels of the kitchen.

Manteboy is... well, he's not exactly a tank, he's butter. You have 3 lives to complete your adventure. If an enemy so much as it touches you, you'll melt a little and lose a life!

Prepare yourself for the final challenge: "The Expired Date Marathon," a massive, side-scrolling level where the danger is bigger than the screen!

MEET MANTEBOY

Behold, our hero! A courageous (and impressively slippery) pat of butter on a mission. His only desire in this world is to be reunited with some bread slices.

He has no superpowers... just a stubborn determination and the ability to slide around with surprising grace. Help him avoid a complete meltdown!

THE ENEMIES

The kitchen is a hostile place for a lonely pat of butter. Watch out for these nasty household creatures!

The Patrol Rat

This rodent isn't very bright, but he's extremely territorial. He's apparently seen too many spy movies and now only moves in perfect circles, guarding his (imaginary) block of cheese. Time his patrol radius and slip past when he's not looking!

The Chaotic Ant

Have you ever tried to follow an ant? It's impossible! These tiny anarchists move completely at random directions. Just when you think thy're going left, they zip right. It's the unpredictable terror of the kitchens, and it's always in the way.

The Stalker Slime

What is this thing? Expired yogurt? A science experiment gone wrong? Nobody knows, but it's hungry, and it has developed a disturbing taste for butter. Unlike the others, this gooey monstrosity will relentlessly pursue you the moment it spots you. It's slow, but it's persistent! Don't let it turn you into moldy butter.

INSTALLATION

USING A PC

1 - Download the manteboy.gb file

2 - Download a GB emulator, our personal choice is BGB

3 - Execute the manteboy.gb file using the emulator

USING THE GAME BOY

1 - Download the manteboy.gb and load it into a Flash Cartridge

2 - Insert the cartridge

3 - Select manteboy.gb in the menu
